About You Me & Vaccines

Hi there! I'm Liz. I developed the idea for this website at the start of 2022, but I've been learning how to talk about difficult topics for much longer! And vaccines is definitely one of them.

Before writing full-time, I studied Microbiology and also worked over three years in fundraising and communications. A mixed bag, I know. But having scientific knowledge as well as communication skills means I can help give you a rare and unique perspective on how to talk about vaccines. I`ve written on the topic for the Irish Medical Times, the top newspaper for healthcare profesionals in the country, and Public Library of Science, which is a major scientific reseach site. I`m also involved in several research projects around vaccination, and review papers for the Global Journal of Medicine and Public Health.

Many people have difficulty communicating about vaccines, or any difficult topic. If you're one of them, feel free to take a look at my blog posts and contact me to help. When I'm not getting hand cramps from writing, I'm probably getting way too passionate about a book, walking, or chatting with friends.
